Method over Magic.

Synthetic isn't a substitute for human panels. Nor a tech gadget. It's a missing layer in the decision process — between instinct and the full study — that simply couldn't exist before, because it wasn't economically possible. FlashInsight is the tool that makes it practical, framed by a method.

Instinct, simulation, measurement: three layers that chain

Instinct remains legitimate — it's even the starting point. Measurement remains the standard for high-stakes decisions. Between the two, a layer was missing: simulation. Too costly yesterday, economically viable today. This layer turns professional instinct into structured evidence, in hours, before the commitment. The three layers don't compete. They chain.

What changes is how measurement meets the decision

Measurement doesn't change — measurement stays measurement. What moves is the moment and the structure of the decision conversation. Test thirty hypotheses instead of three. Explore before you commit. Iterate on the right questions, sooner. Velocity isn't the innovation. The innovation is what velocity makes possible.

Calibration: the rigor of the protocol

It's not the models that deliver good results. It's the rigor of the protocol around them. Psychographic depth. Calibration against the actual targeted market. A close watch on AI positivity bias. Protocols versioned like a questionnaire is versioned. We work on relative gaps — which concept wins — far more than absolute scores.

Personas anchored in real data, not in the zeitgeist

A persona defined by its socio-demographic profile alone produces average, interchangeable answers. To avoid that, every persona is calibrated on real data — on each geography's official reference statistics: INSEE in France, the US Census Bureau in the United States, Eurostat across Europe, the World Bank for international comparison. On top of that population structure come major reference social surveys and published academic norms, for the depth of personalities and values. Nothing is left to the model's imagination — and the method behind this calibration is grounded in a scientific approach.

A logic of experimental abundance

Traditional studies impose a logic of scarcity: three options at most, picked by gut, defended heavily. Synthetic enables a logic of abundance: thirty options to explore, dropped quickly when they don't hold, deepened when they do. That shift in pace is what sharpens professional judgment — without ever replacing it.

The details of the method are a conversation

The precise parameters — persona panel composition, models used, calibration protocols, cross-validations — belong to each project. They get framed in discussion, on your brief, on your audience. What is shared publicly here is the doctrine. The rest is built together.

It's not AI that produces good results. It's the rigor of the protocol that frames it.
